Experience Freshness: LIME - Your Trusted Financial Advisors.

LIME Inc. | Life Insurance & Mortgage Experts
  • Why should I use Lime ?

Quite Frankly, why wouldn’t you? Lime Inc Ltd has a comprehensive range of lenders as a Mortgage and Insurance broker . We come highly recommended and have years of experience doing what we do. So your in safe hands. We are also totally down to earth on hand and approachable. So get in touch.

  • Why do I need to use a mortgage and insurance broker?

You don’t. You could arrange a mortgage or insurance yourself using comparison sites and phoning up different banks. However, you won’t get qualified, experienced trusted advice and you will need to do all the work yourself. The chances are you are quite busy with work and family commitments, so not using a broker can potentially make the process far more complicated, longer winded and stressful.

  • How much can I borrow?

We get this question a lot, and as you can imagine it depends on a lot of different variables. Income, credit, equity or deposit, age among other factors. We do aim to establish this for you very quickly and we can usually get you a figure the same day giving you a good starting point. We do have some useful tools on our website to help you work out how much a mortgage amount would cost a month though.

  • Do I have to meet in person?

Absolutely not. We can do everything via phone, email and online meetings if this is more convenient for you. Or perhaps you don’t live locally. We are however happy to travel and we have many customers that live a long way from our base in Bristol that we successfully help on a regular basis.

  • How long does it take to get a mortgage?

Again a very difficult question to answer as each case is different, however here at Lime we are extremely efficient in our processing and we have great relations with the lenders we use so we can often secure a mortgage offer for our clients within a matter of days of meeting you for the first time. If the case is a little more complex or it takes longer to get the supporting documents from you then it will likely take longer.

  • Will mortgage brokers help me negotiate the purchase price with the seller?

Not usually.  A broker will tend to liase with the estate agent in relation to the mortgage, but wont assist in negotiating it for you. That said,We are happy to assist you with this and can give you the support you need in ensuring you are getting the suitable value for money when you are buying a property.

  • When is the best time to see a broker?

To be honest, having a relationship with a trusted Mortgage and Insurance Broker is important regardless of your stage in life. Even if its just someone to ask questions of or assist in planning how to get you ready for a big lifestyle event like moving house, paying off some debt or planning the finance for a wedding.
